Robert and Emily

Robert White, Student Ministries Director
students@fpctempleton.org

Robert grew up in Vacaville, CA.  He discovered very early in life that he has a few prominent passions; Jesus, people, music, nature, and spicy food…  What better way to live out those passions than youth ministry?!  Robert attended Moody Bible Institute with an emphasis in Bible/Theology.  He had 8 years of ministry experience before being called to Templeton Presbyterian Church in 2008.  He has a passion to see the lost get found and to see believers grow deeper in their faith and relationship with Jesus.  He loves getting to lead the Body of Christ in worship to their Creator.  Robert met Emily the summer of 2000.  They were married three years later.  They now have 4 children, Isaiah, Bella, Joshua, and Judah.  He loves playing with them, getting to hear them laugh and discover new things.  Bedtime is a joy, because he gets to sing with them, read with them, pray and encourage them in the Lord.  If you would like to get to know Robert better, he would love to meet up with you over coffee, Mexican food, a stroll through the park or taking in a scenic view (his favorite lookout on HWY 46 above Cayucos.)

kellie wenzelKellie Wenzel, Worship Music Leader
kelliewenzel@gmail.com

Kellie loves music and worship! Music brings joy to people’s life and worship brings purpose. I want my songs to encourage and bring the answers and the solutions to people’s problems. My music at its core is uplifting, inspiring, affirmative, and universal in its appeal and intention –

At age 11, when God drew Kellie to Himself and she surrendered her life over to Him, she took the gift that God gave her, of voice, and started singing for Him and trying to motivating His people into His presence through worship ever since.

She has been leading worship for over 30 years starting in High school and now where she is currently the worship leader at Templeton Presbyterian Church in Templeton, CA.

She has traveled extensively all over the world singing at different, large to small, events. She also travels with Janet Ables, Refining Faith Ministries, an author and speaker of multiple published books, doing conferences to empower women.

She has a CD out of songs she has written, but in all reality, Kellie doesn’t sing to perform, she sings to motivate people, to draw people’s hearts closer to God. To know, that through music, through the words of the songs, it can create a deeper understand, and surrendering to the ALL Powerful God, who wants to have an intimate fellowship/relationship with each and everyone of us. Music is a powerful tool to grab our hearts attention, and so her focus has always been worship.

pollyPolly Craig, Administrative Assistant
admin@fpctempleton.org

I have been working here at Templeton Presbyterian Church as the Administrative Assistant since December, 2014. I feel that God led me to Templeton Presbyterian Church to work; and also get acquainted with our wonderful congregation.  I enjoy working with Pastor Charlie and alongside of Joanna in the office.

My husband and I moved to Paso Robles in 2000.  This has to be one of the best moves we have made.  We both feel blessed to be a part of such a wonderful congregation in Templeton.

On a side note…  I also am the full time caretaker of our Church Donkeys.  On any given day if you come into the church office, I am sure you will hear me sharing some story about one of the three donkeys.   These donkeys are used for events.  You can see them at the following events:  Living Nativity, Vacation Bible School, Palm Sunday and other church events.

Julie Bower, Receptionist
firstpres@fpctempleton.org

Julie Bower, our new church secretary, comes to us after many years as a math teacher and a few years as an office assistant and customer service representative.  Julie grew up in Oakdale (near Modesto) with her parents, an older brother and sister, and her grandparents next door.  From Oakdale, Julie moved on to Fresno State then Cal Poly for her teaching credential, which is what brought her to the central coast.  Her son, Luke, is  a freshman at Paso High this year.

When Julie is not working in the church office, she is most likely outside in the sunshine, reading, hanging out at the coast, or cleaning pools (a side business).

Julie would like everyone to know that she is truly grateful to be a part of the TPC staff and appreciates the warm welcome she has received.

Please stop by the office and introduce yourself to her.   Her contact information is:  firstpres@fpctempleton.org
